The fantastic band Girls Don’t Cry will once again be playing live tonight at the legendary rock club, The Bitter End.

They will be debuting their latest song, Cobain (Was Playing On The Radio). And it is very recent. I just got a final mix of it the other day! You poor deprived people outside of the New York City area can go to their MySpace page to hear it.

Sora An is the lead singer. She’s also done her first blog entry. And then followed up with a second one.
Get out to see the Girls before they become the huge success they’re destined to be!

The MacDrive 7 Review
The problem is that standard NTFS formatted drives, like those used by Windows 2000, XP and Vista, can’t be written to under Mac OS X (yet), and FAT32, which works on both Mac and Windows, has a limit of 4GB for each file. With files over 10GB, FAT32 wasn’t an option.

Dying Woman Loses Marijuana Appeal
SAN FRANCISCO (AP) – A California woman whose doctor says marijuana is the only medicine keeping her alive can face federal prosecution on drug charges, a U.S. appeals court ruled Wednesday.
The case was brought by Angel Raich, an Oakland mother of two who suffers from scoliosis, a brain tumor, chronic nausea and other ailments. On her doctor’s advice, she eats or smokes marijuana every couple of hours to ease her pain and bolster a nonexistent appetite as conventional drugs did not work.

He shows renters the door
Dennis Block seemed glued to his black leather chair, his coffee untouched, apparently impervious to physical needs such as the bathroom or food, taking one landlord’s phone call after another.
Almost all the callers wanted the same thing: to evict their tenants.
In a DVD he gives to landlords, Block describes himself this way: “A man who has evicted more tenants than any other human being on the planet Earth.”
He has never been busier.
Zooming property values have sent rents skyrocketing more than 25% in four years citywide and even higher in rapidly gentrifying areas. But hundreds of thousands of tenants are protected by rent-stabilization laws, which limit rent increases to 4% a year. When the tenant moves, market rates can take effect — but tenants can be evicted only with good cause.
That’s where Block comes in. He has dedicated his considerable creativity and intelligence to helping landlords evict tenants from rent-stabilized buildings. He boasts that his firm has filed more than 130,000 cases since 1980, a year after rent stabilization went into effect. He helps landlords identify minor violations — a pet fish in an aquarium, a brightly painted bathroom, an extra occupant — to toss out long-term tenants who are paying below market for their homes.

Very Special.

Starship Voyager Apartment Now Up For Sale
Tony Alleyne, the man who turned his apartment into the Star Trek Starship Voyager and went bankrupt has decided to place his humble abode up for sale. The one bedroom apartment is not cheap at £500,000 (approx $967,000 US) but it does seem like a bargain in comparison to the first time he tried selling it on eBay for over $2 million USD.

Bill Gates Praising Apple Computers — YouTube video
BILL GATES – Computer Standard in 1984 – The MACINTOSH? WTF??????
Video Bill Gates- when promoting Apple, writing software for APPLE COMPUTER about 1984.
Bill Gates Quote: “To create a new standard, it takes something that’s not just a little bit different, it takes something that’s really new and really captures people’s imagination and the Macintosh, of all the machines I’ve ever seen, is the only one that meets that standard.” — Bill Gates
If Jobs was smart — OK, he is smart — if Jobs wanted to be a real right bastard, he’d use this clip in an iPhone TV commercial with the tagline:
And Now Apple Does It Again With The Phone
