Several years ago I came across a book called Fooled by Randomness: The Hidden Role of Chance in the Markets and Life by Nassim Nicholas Taleb.
It was breathtaking.
Abundant with original thought, it made a deep and lasting impression on me.
Just last week, I was thinking about it again, considering re-reading it, and idly wondered if the author ever did a second book.
I was just told today that he has!
The Black Swan came out last month and it promises, based on this free excerpt, to be just as exciting and intellectually stimulating as the first book.
