Cringely Is A Link Nazi

May 3, 2007

UPDATE: He isn’t. It turns out his column got tons and tons and tons of comments and my link wound up waaay down at the bottom. Eh, it’s not the first time I’ve made myself look like a total asshole. Still many more times to come, so stick around! So, at the very least, congratulations to Cringely for keeping my link. You got guts. I admire that.

Oh, poor baby.

Didn’t like my language in the headline of my post about him.

So my link in the comments of his column has disappeared.

Yeah, Cringely, a search engine will solve problems human beings can’t. You eejit. Stick to tech. At least you’re amusing then. When you’re not ridiculing of your betters — like Ted Nelson. (Yeah, Cringe, you twat, I remember what you did to him on PBS in Triumph of the Nerds: The Rise of Accidental Empires Nerds 2.0.1. How fucking dare you suddenly speak out on matters of morals and hate! Scour your own heart before inspecting others!)

“Apple Dreams” At World Financial Center’s Winter Garden, Friday And Saturday 7PM, March 23 & 24 — there’s a link to a Flickr set there too.

I wanted to see this. I wanted to see one of my favorite dancers, Maria Garvey, again. My prospects are currently dim for that…

You go, though. It’ll be fun.

Offline Until Monday

May 3, 2007

A horrible day today. And I must Lather, Rinse, and Repeat it tomorrow!

I need to get at least two books read by Monday or I will go out of my fucking mind. My sanity drains away when I can’t read. (And, no, the Net is not reading!)

I’m not checking email or anything else so prepare for reply delays.

Regard the sign and obey.

No Blogging Today

May 3, 2007

I have real-world stuff to beat me up.

Plus, after paying down some massive NYPL fines, I immediately wound up with three books. One which I started reading last night and now want to finish. Oh my God! Real writing to read!

Obey the sign.
