Sylvia Anderson, ex-wife of Gerry Anderson, whose contributions to his many series is a source of contention between her and Gerry (and a source of perplexity to fans) has a new book, My FAB Years.
The above link goes to the FAB Gear site which has a ton of Gerry Anderson and general SF TV merchandise. Oh, you’ll run up a big bill now!

Aha! Google Video has another snip of that longer documentary about Gerry Anderson I mentioned in a prior post. This one focuses on the origins of the classic Thunderbirds TV series.
My God! It’s the first time I’ve seen the greatest director of Supermarionation, Alan Pattillo! (He also returned to do several Terrahawks episodes.)
This is a very bad clip; Gerry Anderson is cut off mid-sentence and Derek Meddings is also cut short at the end. Still, go watch.

The cut cued to the line “And I light the fuse.” is priceless. This title sequence provides all you need to know about the story without a word spoken. Fantastic. They don’t make them like this anymore, no matter how hard they try. You listening, Ben?
Excuse me while I go puke at the thought of another British TV classic being fucked over by the shitheads of Hollywood…
